Supplier Leverage Model - SLM

Companies do not succeed only by themselves but can attain high performance with supply chain management. Thus, they have got a big synergy via Supply Chain Management (SCM). Adaptations of every company in the supply chain and usage of a common language among all chain members are very important factors and issues for sustainability and competitiveness. Therefore, these abilities can be reached by implementation of a successful knowledge management in Supply Chain Systems. Knowledge leverage is one of the most useful tools of Knowledge Management. It can be provided through a set of knowledge sharing and systematic knowledge transferring activities. In this study, Supplier Leverage Model (SLM) is proposed to leverage the supplier knowledge. SLM enables using a common language at all levels and among all suppliers and handling standard knowledge at the same level.
