Resumen El Partido Comunista fue la formación política más activa en oposición del régimen franquista. En este trabajo examinaremos la trayectoria del Partido Comunista de Euskadi / Euskadiko Partidu Komunista desde la misma caída de Bilbao en 1937 hasta la formación del Comité Provincial de Vizcaya del partido de 1956, esto es, durante el período denominado como " el primer franquismo " por los historiadores. This work examines the trajectory of the Communist Party of Euskadi / Euskadiko Partidu Komunista from the fall of Bilbao in 1937 to the formation of the Party's Provincial Committee of Biscay in 1956, that is, during the period called the " first Francoism " by historians.
