La creatura de Shelley no es tan monstruosa y devastadora como la cultura popular nos ha hecho creer, no es buena ni mala, es solo un desafortunado que ha sido impugnado por su fealdad, desde el momento que abrió los ojos a su vida como muerto viviente. Es tan huamana como cualquiera de nosotros, tal vez, es más humano que muchos. Es un heroe.
