Nuevos datos sobre el círculo megalítico de Mezora (Marruecos)

In this paper we present a study about several elements of the megalith circle of Mezora protohistoric monument. In particular, we study some engravings, so far not localized, but in two cases mentioned by ancient authors, we identified firstly a secondary entrance door only observed by Capell Brooke in 1829; finally, we studied the holes present in certain circle monoliths and other nearby secondary assemblies. Some of them, of straight lines, correspond certainly to signals of the technique followed in the extraction process of the quarry. However, most of them correspond to oval shapes of a cupules model which is present in other structures of the region and also in other megalithic monuments fromdifferent periods.
