Las iglesias de los monasterios femeninos de Lima del siglo XVII

Churches in early female monasteries in Lima had very specific features that set them apart from their male convent counterparts. Among these features the most important was the double choir in the opposite side of the presbytery, and the subsequent location of the doors in the lateral walls of the church.
