This work offers a panoramic view on transatlantic exchanges that took place between Spain and Puerto Rico after the establishment of the Royal Decree of 1815. It gives some examples to illustrate the way the Revista de Navegación y Comercio and La Ilustración Española y Americana represented Puerto Rico following the implementation of Decrees’ policies.
