Area: 502 m² The 520 sq. meter project is a small renova on job to accommodate a conference room, a seminar room and six mee ng offices for a University Department for Interna onal Economics and Poli cs. I produced complete schema c and design development documents in Revit and AutoCAD under general supervision from the Firm’s Principal. I was given tracing paper sketches and I created complete design documents for our Contractor to take material take-offs and price the work.

Freelance Rendering and residenƟal Design 11th Street, Sunset District, San Francisco Area: 420 m ² I was employed to produce 3D renderings for a builder working on a design build project in San Francisco. The renderings and isometrics were required for a planning applicaƟon, to allow the project to go forward. I made the geometry in Revit and renderings in 3DS Max.

De Anza Secondary School Area: 6,500 m ² I worked on the De Anza School during construc on administra on. The project is en rely naturally ven lated and generates the opera onal power from 6000sf of PV roof mounted panels. The drawings were created in Revit and Adobe Illustrator. During periodic site visits the external louvres were checked to prevent overhea ng. During construc on the general contractor sent RFIs through a web server, to eliminate paper and make it easier to find a client’s approval for construc on decisions.

SeaƩle Masterplan for Mount Baker Transit StaƟon “HONERABLE MENTION” FROM URBAN LAND INSTITUTE 2012 Area: 135,575 m ² This Urban Design Graduate compeƟƟon in SeaƩle-USA connects downtown SeaƩle and the internaƟonal airport, to create a walkable neighborhood. In our interdisciplinary team of four post-graduate students (Architecture, Landscape, Urban Design and Business) we proposed a live-work neighborhood, centered around the metro train, a cycle network and a pedestrian thoroughfare. The 14 day compeƟƟon was very fast, and culminated in our design and pro-forma being shortlisted from 160 entries worldwide.

The mt.baker train station is placed in an extraordinary midpoint between downtown seattle and seatac airport. This design provides prov the urban strategy for creating crea walkable development surrounding surroun the station. The multi-nodal network that will emerge surrounding the central link light rail will create a corridor of pedestrian friendly neighborhoods.

Salt, FormaƟon and Emergence at the Dead Sea UC BERKELEY AWARD FOR DIGITAL DESIGN EXCELLENCE 2012 Each year the Dead Sea is disappearing at 3 feet, due to high temperatures and strong prevailing wind. I propose to use the changing Salt landscape to create an architectural form which uses the Salt from the drying Sea water to build a monument to the Dead Sea for future visitors to see how the Sea once looked. The Monument will be formed from a crystalline armature which the salt will cluster on as the Sea disappears.
These models are enƟrely made from Salt in a 3D-printer, using a technique I developed for the first Ɵme at UC Berkeley.
AŌer the Dead Sea evaporates in 105 years, the building is made from the salt crystalisaƟon. The Dead Sea will deposit salt on 3D-printed Salt spaces. [models at 1/16”=1’ Scale in Salt]

Built Project: Indian Himalayas Noel Hill Travel Award 2010 - American InsƟtute of Architects: UK 1st Prize in the NaƟonal AIA (UK) Excellence in Design Awards 2010 I used a first prize award for the AIA for my work, to travel here to help build this museum and provide working drawings. I was part of a team building a small community museum in the Indian Himalayas in Leh Village with Habitat for Humanity. Poplar wood and adobe bricks were used through this construcƟon. I lived there for a summer, visiƟng the site and working with the Project Manager and Engineer to keep providing the construcƟon drawings. As well as drawing I spent many weeks onsite, learning carpentry and wood joinery, on your right you can see me making a museum window frame for installaƟon. [I produced all the drawings seen on this page in three months]
