ABSTRACT Purpose:Assessment of the effectiveness of BrachialPlexusBlock (BPB)via axillaryapproachcomparedto regionalanesthesia for arteriovenousfistula surgery in patientsaffected by end-stagerenal disease. Methocls:We comparedforty patientsrandomlydivided into two groups.Croup A underwent BPBprocedurewith 15 mL ropivacaine1"/" and 10 mL of saline(0.9% NaCl) via axillary approach.Group B receivedlocal anesthesiawith lidocaine 2"/",Theforearm blood vesselswere assessed by Doppler ultrasonography beforeand after the intervention.
